I think I am setting all-time slacker-ific records on timeliness here.

Better late than never they say.

OH I thought when I went on self-imposed lockdown that I would have so much free time to play sims, write blogs and generally hang out in the sims community

and THEN my hubs came home to “work from home!”

Reno madness ensued.

WOW, it is so much easier (and less messy) to do in the sims.

Anyway, enough of this .. let’s move on to the peek.

I really do not like to consider myself a reviewer or one who critiques the packs because quite frankly I really do like them all.

So if you are expecting a hard-hitting editorial expose’ … well …

I like it.

There you have it.

All kidding aside, it is a quite complex pack.

You will note the brevity and limited scope of this blog.

There is a reason.

Honestly, for the first time opening an expansion pack, I was overwhelmed by it.  A week or so into the process I realized that I was going to have to do this one in “small bites” because there is just so much to chew on.

I will start with CAS and oh boy did I get stuck in CAS!

I lost count of how many sims I made LOL

I will share a few links to a few you might enjoy at the end of this blog.

Hair:

I don’t know about you but the first thing I look for in a new pack is what hair did we get.

In this pack, the developers did such an amazing job with the hair.

I liked all of them.  (Surprise!)

There are 12 styles for adults and 4 for children are included in this EP.

There are a few that are unisex (and 3 that were not indicated as such in the pack but I think they go quite well)

This next one is so cute,  especially on the children.  I have nicknamed it “The Debbie” because it looks like her hairstyle from when we were kids.

This little shortie has got to be my favorite.  It is FAB in all 3 versions of itself!

I especially love the head shape in profile.  Just so cute.

Speaking of “I love it” favorites .. this new beard is AAAAHmazing.  The texture and shape is pure perfection to this beard lover!

In fact, I am having a debate with myself about changing Bob’s beard (again).  I love the long one but the new one has such great shape and texture. #thestruggleisreal

Accessories:

We got a lot of cute new piercings and some FAB gauged earplugs.

There are some fun paper bag masks that come into play in one of the game’s NAP.

The adult masks are fun but the kids and toddlers are just adorable!

Children:

Toddlers:

Traits and animations:

Freegan is for adults only.  The other two are for both adults and children.

Clothing:

This EP has some very interesting clothing.

It seems that some love it and some hate it.

You prob can guess where I fall.

All 49 adult pieces heavily reflect the repurposed/upcycled/reused mindset of Eco-friendly fashion.

Being from the PNW this is right up my alley (the entire pack is TBH).

Since there are so many pieces and combinations, I felt that the most expeditious thing to do would be to feature a few looks available in the EP. (I do want this blog done before the fall sets in).

Well, I do love CAS and I seriously got carried away.  There are 60 screenshots (and I actually got rid of a lot).

Children:  11 pieces

Toddlers: 6 pieces

Shoes:

I do love getting new shoes!

Most are unisex …

but of course each to their own.

I suppose that they all could be.

  1. Oh my gosh, I loved your ‘review’! I have to agree with your view on Eco Lifestyle. I love it too! I’m so happy with the hairs (also my first stop with new packs, lol) and the clothes are actually quite fabulous! Your sims creations are quite fabulous! I need new townies for sure! I have to curb the in-breeding of the generic townies, lol😂.

      1. My favourite piece is the skirt on the jean so fabulous. And the town is pretty no matter how dirty is it. BTW I recover my account here at least to chitchat.

  2. Nice CAS review. 🙂 I appreciated you including many screenshots. Looks like there is a good selection of hairstyles and clothing. It’s also nice that it comes with 2 new aspirations and 4 new traits! 😀 The braided hairstyles are the ones that had caught my attention when I first watched footage for this pack.
