Caiden awoke with a start.

The smell of rain hung heavy in the jungle air.

He hurried out to the beast.

He needed to act quickly.

It was imperative that he keep the rain at bay.

Normal jungle downpours would quickly wash away any evidence,

That would seriously hamper his investigation.

He worked feverously and finally persuaded the crumbling rust bucket to rumble to life.

Without a second thought to his own safety, Caiden yanked the leaver down.

The small hairs on his body stood on end as the air around him became charged with electricity.

Ions were being infused into the atmosphere and a discharge of energy blasted upwards into the incoming rain clouds.

OH … well … HUH …

At least it is not rain!

It was Sunday.

Easter Sunday to be exact.

Since he had met all the taskings for Mission #1 and Mission #2 was not due in til the next day, Caiden decided to take the day off and do some exploring.

He headed into the market square for a little breakfast.

It is not that he minded the Beanie Weenies at all but he was in the mood for something different.

When he arrived the place was DESERTED.

Not a single soul in sight.

Seems the Selvadoradian people take Easter Morning Church service very seriously.

Caiden walked over to the old mission church and stood outside for a few minutes.

He could see that the place was packed.

Nearly everyone in the village must be here.

He lingered to listen for a moment.

The music was lovely but to be honest he did not know anything about going to church.

Momma Bear had taken him a few times when he was a cub but he did not remember what to do.

Going in now would just feel too awkward.

He decided to kill a bit of time down on the dock.

Fishing was said to be great here.

Wow Caiden, talk about your river monsters!

Soon he could hear the hustle and bustle of the market place as the vendors opened for business.

After selling him a very nice machete, Margarite (who had introduced herself earlier) gave him a little 411 on various local sights he would”not want to miss.”

Now for breakfast.

Caiden scanned the food booths and settled on “this” one.

No reason!

Hmm, I think I understand Caiden.

He stammered and faltered as he attempted to order from the lovely young woman in the booth.

His lack of mastery of the language coupled with her beautiful dark eyes made communication nearly impossible.

He attempted a smooth recovery which saldly only made it worse.

With Margarite’s list in his ear, Caiden set out on his adventure.

No doubt about it the jungle was beautiful BUT it also had its dangers!

The day had been been a beauty!

So much to see and experience.

Caiden was feeling quite peckish and the Beanie Weenies in his fridge were still a long way off.

Might as well stop and enjoy a quick meal …

just he and his pals the mosquitos.

Aster’s arrival early the next morning was a pleasant surprise.

Caiden had been up since dawn wrestling the ancient TRS80 into compliance.

A daunting task indeed.

Good thing he is a nerd and secretly enjoys such challenges.

Caiden was very happy to see his friend!

“Thought I would bring you Mission #2 in person,” Aster explained.  “I figured you might appreciate a bit of company by now.”

In truth, while he was anxious to get to the next mission, he was very happy to see a familiar face.

Aster filled Caiden in on the happenings back with the platoon.

And Caiden showed Aster a slide show of his explorations yesterday.

Aster stopped him short when he saw the lovely young woman.

“How do you have HER picture?”

Caiden explained his “chance” meeting with her.

Aster explained that he had seen her picture in the dossier for Mission #2.  “I have no idea who she is or why she is on the list but she is definitely involved at some level.”

Aster gave a final quick admonition as he headed back to the helicopter, “Please be careful my friend!  It only gets more dangerous from here!”

Nurture Bizarre Plant and Harvest Fruit if available (you’ll need 5 of these later)

Travel to the Angry Tiki Bar

Try to blend In:  Order a Drink

Become friends with 3 locals and the Bartender

Play “Angry Tiki” Darts with a local

Challenge a local to a Dance Off

Plant 5 listening bugs on 5 different Sims

Seduce a local (get to at least “first kiss” with a local, or more if you’re into them)

Return to the Safe House and listen in on the bugs you’ve planted

Locate and Blackmail (mischief) the 5 Sims you listened in on and recorded (remember these 5 Sims for later)
