Rules or special considerations:
This is a forum based challenge. In the spirit of that please keep your entries FAMILY FRIENDLY and safe for work. This means NO adult mods, NO adult themes, and NO language. If you feel that language is an integral part of your story feel free to either use the word “plum” or redact it “S**T.” Some of you may feel very restricted by this but let me remind you that this will go out across all social media platforms and we cannot control who might see it when.
This is an international competition and some will be writing in their second language so BE KIND!
You can write as many short stories as you wish but only one can be entered for the challenge vote.
Reminder:
- Participants ARE ALLOWED – even encouraged to let their readers know that they are participating in the challenge … growing our skills AND our community IS the POINT of all of this.
- BUT here is the caveat, their readers MUST read all entries and vote in accordance with instructions. This instruction must be CLEARLY stated by the participant when their readers are informed.
- Readers will be asked to vote for their top 3 choices in both categories (6 votes total).
- Any vote received that does not contain 3 votes for each category will be thrown out.
- I assure you that I will diligently watch this. NO ONE will be unfairly targeted, bullied or shunned.

This was a fun theme, and now that I’ve posted my story, I’m looking forward to reading the submissions. I still cannot comment/post links on the forum, so here’s a link to mine (I’m ShelliSims2).
